LOGLINE: In 1897, a young Aleister Crowley, newly graduated from Cambridge and eager to explore the depths of occultism and decadence, embarks on a journey of scandalous exploits and mystical pursuits, seeking esoteric knowledge to gain power, celebrity, and fame.
BACKGROUND: A visionary TV series based on the true story of the 20th century’s most infamous man, Aleister Crowley. Futago has also developed a meticulously detailed five-season show bible.
• The project is partnered with Legacy Pictures (“Out of the Furnace,” “Beyond the Lights”).
• Co-written with playwright and screenwriter Rachel Greenhoe (“Beyond the Woods”).
